Do I apply the color on washed or unwashed hair?

It is recommended to wash your hair 24-48 hours prior to coloring your hair. The natural oils will protect your scalp and the color will adhere better. If you have not washed your hair for over 48 hours, we recommend a gentle shampoo (without scrubbing your scalp too much) and drying it prior to color application.
