Why do a sensitivity patch test?

To ensure that no reactions nor allergies are present. Certain persons can be intolerant to some ingredients. 

Vitality’s Pro Tip: Instead of testing behind the ear (where it is visible), we suggest to test inside the elbow crease. Our colorist applies the oxidant inside one elbow crease and the coloring cream inside the other elbow crease. You can typically assess the reaction quickly, yet it is recommended to wait 24 hours to be certain. 

• If it is slightly itchy with minor redness, this is normal. 
• If there are blisters or bumps, the client is allergic and should not use the product.
