National Sales Director

We are looking for a National Sales Director to take Masdel to new heights!

Reporting to the President and working in close collaboration with sales & marketing teams, this role will:

Role overview: 

-Manage major accounts and sales agents in Canada to maximize potential
-Present annual sales plan to management team
-Monitor market opportunities and competitive landscape and relay to product development and marketing

-Coordinate with product development, marketing and logistics on matters affecting territory
-Follow product development and determine best plan to launch at various retailers
-Member of senior management participate in the progress, development and future of company

-Analyze sales data to identify trends, progress on targets, etc.
-For certain brands, forecasting sales on a per SKU basis to ensure in-stock availabilities
-Work with retailers on product listing issues
-Assist other departments in issues affecting customers 

Must haves: 

-5 to 7 years of relevant sales experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry 
-Bachelor’s degree or/and proven track record in sales
-Must have experience working with big box retailers such as Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Costco.
-Must be professional and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Must have excellent English communication skills 
-Must be computer savvy and proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
